  1. For iPhones

You will need to enter the main number or the building number. Next, press and hold the “*” key until a comma appears in the number. Once this happens, enter the extension and send the call.

  1. For Android Phones

You can use two ways to dial a phone extension. You can either use the + symbol on the dial pad when you are entering the number that is not in your contacts or you can enter + when you are adding a new contact.

You can add it while dialing a number simply by pressing the 0 until a + symbol is added to the number. Enter the extension number once it is done. The same steps can be used to add it while you are adding a new contact.
